I grew up in the East Bay, started traveling before I could talk, and I haven’t stopped. I’ve experienced food through those travels, cooking, farming, food science, you name it. I love gardening, nurturing growing plants, and knowing where my food comes from.
A culinary adventurer with a passion for global cuisines, Chef Lauren studied and worked in Barcelona before returning to the fine dining scene in her hometown of Chicago and, eventually, Phoenix.
Classically trained, Michelin-star experienced, and having had the honor to cook for some of the world’s most renowned celebrities, Chef Joel is fanatically focused on client needs and deeply rooted in high-level hospitality.
One of the top New York personal chefs since 2003, Chef Janaina is a feisty Brazilian “food whisperer”, lovingly coaxing her ingredients to create culinary masterpieces for Big City Chefs’ private clientele from Manhattan to the Hamptons and beyond.
Born and raised in San Diego, Chef Geordie’s favorite television show while growing up was “The Great Chefs of the World”. While other kids were dreaming of becoming astronauts or police officers, he was already dreaming of cooking in a kitchen.
I’ve worked with many high profile clients and spent a lot of time cooking on luxury charter boats all over North America. I’ve cooked many different cuisines and dietary restrictions and cannot wait to cook for you!
